Practical test
What happens on the day?
Being well prepared and knowing what to expect when you get to the test centre can boost your confidence and your chances of passing. Here's a snapshot of how the Practical Test works.
Get the best start
When you learn with BSM, you'll have at least an hour's lesson with your instructor immediately before your test. This gives you time to warm up and feel comfortable in the car. It'll also help to calm any last minute nerves. Your instructor will make sure you arrive in good time at the test centre. Remember, you'll need to bring along your test appointment letter, provisional driving licence and some other form of photographic ID. Check your appointment letter for details of the correct forms of ID.
