Get the right car
When you're learning to drive, you need to feel comfortable and safe behind the wheel, so it's important that your training car is easy to handle and reliable, and that it includes safety features to help learner drivers.
All BSM cars are fitted with dual controls and our instructors have all the training and expertise needed to keep you and the vehicle safe.
If you're learning or practising in a private car, you'll need 'L' plates and you may want to have an extra rear-view mirror for the driver who is accompanying you. And if you take your practical test in a private car, there are regulations you have to comply with.
