Our CPD courses can help you to:

  • Prepare for DSA check tests
  • Gain skills to help you work with people with physical disabilities
  • Improve your presentation and communication skills
  • Build on your technical knowledge, including individual learning styles
  • Broaden your skills to work in advanced and other qualified driver training areas.

BTEC Advanced Award

BSM has teamed up with Edexcel (issuer of BTEC awards) to provide you with a practical, flexible route to achieving the BTEC Advanced Award 'Developing Best Practice for Driving Instruction', which is equivalent in standard to an A-level or NVQ in Driving Instruction.

The BTEC Advanced Award is based around BSM's CPD programme. To achieve it, you need to complete a minimum of three CPD courses: two mandatory one-day practical courses and a further one-day course (or two half-day courses) of your own choosing.

The BTEC Advanced Award can help you to:

  • Expand your knowledge of the instructor market
  • Keep up to speed with industry changes
  • Gain differentiation from other instructors
  • Demonstrate an independent mark of quality
  • Widen your appeal within the youth market, who instantly recognise the qualification.
