Course content
BSM Signal is made up of five core units. As well as promoting safe driving habits and preparing students for their driving test, the course is also designed to enable them to enjoy the benefits of car ownership.
- Getting on the road looks at the theory and practical tests and how to get the best preparation to pass them.
- How accidents happen investigates the causes of accidents and looks at accident reconstruction.
- How to avoid accidents happening looks at what you can do to avoid becoming a statistic with an emphasis on hazard perception.
- Buying a car looks at all the things you should know before buying a car, including problems associated with buying a used car, insurance and basic car maintenance.
- On the road is a group exercise using all the information from the first four sessions to plan a journey to a music festival.
